We are all aware of the importance of keeping physically fit and healthy, I think most have heard of trying to do 10,000 steps a day. But there’s more to consider than just physical fitness.

If you have a chronic or recurring musculoskeletal pain, physical activity may be something you’ve had to restrict or fear.

In this section we look at the body, not just as separate systems working along side each other, but how they impact and influence each other. When you understand how the body responds and adapts to physical and emotional stresses and strains put on it, it can help uncover a missing link behind your physical pain.

We will cover exercise, different ways to approach movement and knowing when to stop. There is also information about different treatments and therapies you may not have come across that may be a solution for you.

We will also look at the mind-body connection. Brain and body aren’t separate and impact each other more than you may realise. Sometime the solution to a physical issue isn’t through exercise and structural correction.
